We're starting up a new feature here on the Skratch Publishing blog: Our Kids Book of the Moment! Every time we come across a book that we think you or your kids will love, we paste it up here with our thoughts! We figured 'Pick of the Day' might be too much to handle, and 'Pick of the Week' didn't give us enough room!

First up! Knightley Academy by Violet Haberdasher.
Seriously? If you are one of those rare individuals who liked Harry Potter, then run, do not walk, to your nearest independent book store and get this for you or your kids! It's a similar premise to HP (boarding school, fish out of water young hero, etc...) but instead of learning to become wizards, the kids are learning to become knights! It's a rollicking adventure, and worth sacrificing some sleep trying to get to the end! (Plus, the hardcover artwork is awesome...)
